After changing the setting, exit the CHDK menu (MENU key), then exit <Alt> mode, then power down the camera. If this does not work: will the setting be saved when you additionally change another CHDK setting from another CHDK menu the same time ? |

I found that it comes from using 16pt symbols and less than 16pt menu text. If I use symbols and text with the same size - saving works fine. |
